New Years Eve is finally here Yay!

Catching up!

Here's a timeline to catch you up on things

December 1-15 = this time period was not very eventful. The main thing that happened was the
Chattanooga Ballet Nutcracker that my sister was in!

December 16 = we left for Boston at 4:30am arrived at midnight.

December 19 = we let Boston and went to New York City..... and it was Mary's (one of my sisters') Birthday!

December 22 = we went home!

December 24 = we celebrated Christmas with our relatives on our mothers side.

December 25 = Christmas with my family.

Future...

December 31 = New Years Eve with friends.

January 7 = white elephant with friends in Huntsville.

Boston & New York

I'm back from winter vacation! We returned at midnight and are super worn out! It was a 13 hour drive back (I think). Our trip was very eventful. On our way up to Boston our brakes weren't working. So we had to act... we took the car to Firestone in Boston. It stayed there until we left for NYC. In the mean time we took the subway... and walked... EVERYWHERE!!! We were so sore! Then we went to NY! I got to go to their three story American Girl Doll store! I'll post pictures later! That's not the only place we went. Though it was the most fun place to me! I got a NY shirt for my doll! It is super cute! Merry Christmas! Happy New Year!

December is finally here!

Well, it strted ten days ago I just haven't found the time to post I hope your still following my blog! I'll give you a recap of what's been going on.... Well, this is not really a recap but news in general... We are going to Boston and New York this month. We are leaving on December 16th and returning on the 23rd. I hope you have a wonderful day, and a merry christmas (since I probably won't publish another post before then)!

Rowing rocks!

Rowing rocks! My sister rows for Chattanooga Junoir Rowing, and she is really good at it. Ok, pop quiz who knows what the largest regatta (rowing race) is in the world? I'll give you the answer... The Head of the HOOCH!!! This race takes place in Chattanooga (downtown) and my sister competed in it! Good job Susie! It took place last Saturday & Sunday! Here's some pictures of her in the boat she races in!

So 16 days till my birthday! My sister Sarah's birthday is on the 16th of October! Then my dad has his birthday on November 1st!

Hi!!!

I am babysitting at somebody's house tonight from 4:00pm- 5:00pm. Lately, I've been busy so I haven't been able to post. I don't have anything to post about at the moment. The only reason I'm posting now is to let you know that I am still posting there is just nothing to post about! I'LL POST LATER!!!!!!!!!!

Hair clips and Chinese!

Ok, I know that Chinese and hair clips have nothing in common but I wanted to blog about them both. I figured it would be more efficient to do it all in one post. Enjoy.....
Let's start with Chinese. I have three friends who are adopted from China. Well, the most recent one that was adobted still remembers most of the Chinese that she has learned. This past Sunday she taught me some Chinese words. Here are some pictures of some of the words.

Sorry about some of them being sideways just look at it in line with the words and it will be the correct way. So this one is sideways. I will tell you if it is sideways so you will know.

Happy Fall!!!

Happy belated Autumn! We are hosting an ice cream social for the Brainerd large group area of our church. Right now we are watching star wars 2. Right now it is at one of the mushy parts... if you know what I mean. Now they are about to be killed (supposedly)... it's intense.... supposedly. This is so much fun. Yay! The jedi's are winning. Earlier today my dad and a couple of my siblings went to the Chattanooga market to see the Alton Brown cook off. Talk to you later!  

2Day

Sorry about not posting! I have been busy and there has been nothing to post about!
Today I went to a friends' house for my 15 year old sister. The teachers youngest is a talker if she is comfortable with the person she is talking to. She started crying at the beginning, but by the end she was really comfortable. Well, while we were saying goodbye she started saying 'goodbye , goodbye Kaffy, goodbye Peter (Peter my brother was also there), goodbye Kaffy, goodbye Susie, goodbye Kaffy.' Which is funny because she had only once before said my name!

This afternoon I went to swim practice. Practice was hardish. I was not ready for it.

My doll see saw!

 My new doll see saw that me and my dad made we finished it last night! Do you like it? We used scrap wood that we had in the garage! The painting was a special touch that I added to perk it up!

 My dolls enjoy it! I enjoy it too!

Breaststroke!

Breaststroke is the second hardest stroke in swimming! you need to kick like you've seen a frog kick. Breaststroke is known as the, "Froggy" stroke. Doing 12 laps in a pool and then 4 laps we did this three times. This was yesterday.

Fun this afternoon!

Hello this is Kathy here!

Yesterday school was cancelled! I was so disapointed so I called my friend Claire and it turns out I spent 3 and a half hours with her this afternoon it was so much fun!

Rain!

It's raining it's pouring the old man is snoring he went to bed and bumped his head and couldn't get up in the morning!

Rain, rain go away come again another day!

Boating!

I have no idea if boating is a word but i it is that is what we did yesterday! Kevin tried to wakeboard.... it didn't work very well. Susie and dad both tried to ski but I don't kno how that turned out because I wasn't in the boat. Instead I was sitting on a very unstable dock with Peter and my Mom. Me and Peter played in the water some. Sarah wasn't there which was a bummer because she would have had a lot of fun! Afterwrds we went to a pizza place named barleys to dine that evening and then headed home! I'm going to start with the beginning!
Here are the boating stories!
We went up to Knoxville and went out on the boat! Peter was the first person to go out on the tube! Kevin likes to flip people if they like to be flipped! Well, Peter is one of those people! Let me tell you his flip was sooo epic! What happened? Well, Kevin went over a different bots wake (the wake are the waves that come from the boat). Where was I? Oh yeah! I was telling you about Peter's epic flip, so as we were going over the ake Peter flew up in the air and did an accidental back flip! It was soooo funny my dad even got a picture! (I will post it as soon as I can!) After Peter went out me and Mary went in the tube! Our ride was so bumpy it made our voices vibrate! We the decided to sing 'Row, row, row your boat'! And I sang 'Row, row, row your boat gently down the river (because we were on a river) merrily merrily merrily life is not a liver!' Mary was still sing it normally!
Me and Peter went out later and Kevin made us bump around a lot! You see there are four handles in a row. I got on the tube second and Peter took the two middle handles so I got stuck with the outside ones! It was memberable! When we went over a wake, which we did a lot, I would slide down a little bit at a time. Then finally I was holding on by a thread at the edge of the tube!

Tomorrow, my family and I are going out on my brothers boat again and it is also my moms birthday! Happy birthday to her!
